Yes—this is a MUST.

Before bringing your bunny home:

Find a rabbit-experienced vet

Be prepared for emergencies

Schedule routine checkups

✔️ We also recommend spaying/neutering:

Males: 4–6 months

Females: ~6 months

This prevents serious health issues and improves behavior.

Bunnies are not low-maintenance pets.

They require:

Daily care and attention

Proper diet and housing

Knowledge of health issues like GI stasis

⚠️ They should never be left unattended for long periods.

Before bringing a bunny home, you should understand:

Diet

• Unlimited hay
• Limited pellets
• No veggies until 6 months
• Housing
• Use playpens (not cages)
• Provide space to move freely

Health

• Monitor eating and poop daily
• GI stasis = emergency

They can be—with supervision.

• Kids often forget daily care 
• Bunnies don’t like being held 
• Parents must take responsibility

• Time, space, and cost 
• Proper bonding

• Males will fight if not fixed 
• Females can become territorial 
• Opposite genders must be separated until fixed

Males (Bucks)

• More affectionate 
• Easier to bond 
• Less expensive to neuter 

Females (Does)

• More territorial 
• Higher cancer risk if not fixed 
• More expensive surgery 

👉 Many families find males easier as pets.

 Every bunny is different.

• Some are outgoing 
• Some need time to warm up 

Most bonding happens after they go home with you.

 Raising quality bunnies includes:

• Feed, hay, and supplies 
• Housing and enrichment 
• Daily handling and care 

Our bunnies are:

• Pedigreed 
• Socialized 
• Sent home with a sample of their current feed and guidance

Bunnies are a long-term commitment (8–10+ years).
