IMPORTANT: Please read every section before reserving a rabbit. Submitting this agreement does not reserve a rabbit. A reservation is complete only after availability is confirmed and the required deposit is received.

· A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve a rabbit. Do not send payment until Carolina Crown Lops confirms availability.

· The deposit applies only to the rabbit identified at payment and may not be transferred unless Carolina Crown Lops agrees in writing.

· The remaining balance must be paid before the rabbit leaves our care. Accepted payment methods are Cash App, Venmo, and Apple Pay.

· If the buyer cancels, fails to pay the balance, or fails to complete pickup as agreed, payments made are forfeited.

· If Carolina Crown Lops cancels the sale or the reserved rabbit becomes unavailable while in our care, payments made toward that rabbit will be refunded.

· A rabbit may be purchased as a pet without a pedigree or as a pedigreed rabbit when a pedigree is specifically included in the purchase.

· The buyer must select the purchase type before paying the deposit. A pedigree is not automatically included with every rabbit.

· When included, the pedigree will be provided after full payment is received.

· Carolina Crown Lops does not guarantee future breeding ability, show quality, adult size, temperament, or the quality or colors of future offspring.

· No rabbit will leave Carolina Crown Lops before eight weeks of age.

· We make every reasonable effort to identify sex, color, and characteristics correctly. Young rabbits can be difficult to sex, and appearance may change with maturity.

· The buyer is encouraged to examine the rabbit and confirm its sex at pickup.

☐ I understand that sex, color, adult size, and appearance cannot be guaranteed with absolute certainty.

· To the best of our knowledge, the rabbit will be healthy and free of known signs of contagious illness when it leaves Carolina Crown Lops.

· The buyer may examine the rabbit at pickup and may decline it before accepting possession if there is an immediate concern.

· Once the buyer or approved transporter accepts possession, the buyer assumes responsibility for care, health, housing, diet, transportation, veterinary expenses, injuries, and exposure.

· Carolina Crown Lops does not provide a health guarantee after the rabbit leaves our care and does not reimburse veterinary expenses.

· All completed sales are final. No refunds, returns, replacements, or exchanges will be issued after possession is accepted, except where required by applicable law.

· The buyer must make pickup or transportation arrangements before placing a deposit.

· A meetup may be offered at a Tractor Supply location within approximately two hours of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for a $40 meetup fee.

· The buyer must arrive at the agreed time and location. Missed appointments may require rescheduling and additional expenses.

· Any third-party transporter is hired and paid by the buyer. Carolina Crown Lops is not responsible for the transporter's schedule, delays, cancellations, handling, or actions after pickup.

· A rabbit held beyond the agreed pickup date may be subject to a boarding fee communicated in advance.

☐ I have a pickup or transportation plan and accept responsibility for all related arrangements and costs.

· Provide safe, clean, humane, and weather-appropriate housing; suitable food; unlimited appropriate hay; fresh water; exercise; and veterinary care.

· Research Holland Lop care, make dietary changes gradually, supervise children, and introduce other animals slowly and safely.

· Never use the rabbit for fighting, bait, food, or any abusive or unlawful purpose.

· Contact Carolina Crown Lops if guidance is needed or if the buyer can no longer care for the rabbit.

☐ I agree to provide proper lifelong care and humane treatment for this rabbit.

If the buyer can no longer care for the rabbit, the buyer should contact Carolina Crown Lops before surrendering it to a shelter or transferring it to another person. We cannot guarantee that we can take the rabbit back, but we may assist with responsible rehoming. No refund is promised for a returned or rehomed rabbit.

Carolina Crown Lops may refuse or cancel a sale before possession changes if the placement is not believed to be in the rabbit's best interest. If Carolina Crown Lops cancels, payments made toward the rabbit will be refunded. Threatening behavior, dishonesty, suspected neglect, inadequate housing, lack of communication, missed appointments, or failure to pay may result in refusal of a sale.

Carolina Crown Lops may limit or decline rabbitry visits to protect the herd from contagious disease, parasites, stress, and biosecurity risks. Pickup or meetup instructions will be provided directly to the buyer.
